New World Little Garden

This term our Inquiry is Sustainability. We will be investigating how we can create a more sustainable environment at Wesley Primary School. New World Supermarket kindly donated a box of their Little Garden seeds to us so we are growing them to plant into our Garden to Table gardens. Seeds need water, soil, and light to grow. We are watching our seeds carefully for signs that they are starting to germinate.

    Kia ora team Rima,
    I am so keen to see how your seeds grow! I LOVE eating fresh fruit and veges straight from the garden and love that they taste so much nicer. I don't even like peas from the supermarket BUT I love fresh peas straight out of the shell. What seeds are you germinating? Have any of you got vege gardens at home?

    Hello Room 5. This is Room 3 commenting. We are so excited to see your plants once they have germinated. We are so proud that you are respecting our gardens and environment. This reminds us of a time when we went shopping at New World and bought a morning tea. Maybe you could teach us how to grow plants or make a stop motion animation of the plants growing.

    Hi my name is Myha and Kaedyn . We rely like little garden we have a lot of them and they grow fast they need a lot of water. I have three of them they are corn, tomato, lettuce.
